I can't tell you how honored I am to have been asked to share my artwork from Encanto and have it made into a special edition Disney Encanto pin commemorating Hispanic Heritage Month.

The time I spent working on Encanto was so special for me. Being able to share my own Spanish heritage and culture was a dream come true. I am so proud to have been a part of it. I really hope everyone enjoyed all the work that we put into the film. From the entire cast and crew we thank you for all the support and love.

Welcome 2022! Representation Matters

So far it's been a wonderful start of the year. Encanto is now out on Disney+ and also has been resonating with audiences across the world. Just this past weekend Encanto won the Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature. And articles on representation within the film have gone viral below are a couple of articles of interest! My first Encanto animation!!

 I got to animate on Encanto for the better part of 2021... this here is my first animation on the show. It shows exactly what to expect from out leading character Mirabel! Check it out!

Encanto!!

The newest film I've worked on is due to come out this Thanksgiving! I'm so proud of all the work that went into making this film. There is so much I can say- but for now I'll post our latest trailer and more to come!

Disney will shutdown Bluesky Studios

 Okay I've officially gone a whole year without updating this blog. I actually think blogs are outdated now? Everyone's on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook? Maybe not FB.... LOL. Well I am. although I don't post too often on there either. I mostly post industry related info on my twitter... so if you are so included go check it out and follow me! You can be one if the 300 peeps there! 

At any rate. Today is a bit of a sad day. Disney closed down Bluesky studios and a lot of my close friends are now out of work. Everyone at that studio is super talented and they have made some of the most memorable films of my generation. Ice Age was a true groundbreaking franchise. I hope we get to see these characters again someday.
